Job Description:
The Global XRS Captain will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a Bombardier Global XRS aircraft, ensuring the highest standards of airmanship and adherence to all applicable regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and a dedication to delivering exceptional service to passengers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prioritize the safety of all crew members, passengers, and cargo onboard at all times.
- Strictly adhere to operational procedures and checklists outlined in the Operations Manual (FOM).
- Ensure all crew members are seated and ready at designated stations prior to take-off, final approach, and landing.
- Maintain a vigilant watch during critical phases of flight, prohibiting any non-essential activities.
- Preserve the integrity of flight data and cockpit voice recorder data, ensuring that it is not disabled or erased except in cases of incident or accident investigations.
- Effectively manage the flight crew, maximizing airmanship and teamwork for optimal flight conduct.
- Maintain precise navigation and adherence to minimum altitudes.
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of aircraft systems and ensure their proper use and handling.
- Enforce strict adherence to all checklists.
- Ensure sufficient fuel remains for safe landing at a designated airport with appropriate reserves.
- Maintain close communication with the cabin crew to guarantee adherence to all cabin safety requirements.
- Complete all flight and technical logs accurately and thoroughly.
- Prepare and submit written occurrence and accident reports as needed.
- Remain current on relevant aviation regulations, JBJH/JBJS operations manual, and agreed aviation practices.
- Maintain a high standard of discipline, conduct, and appearance as a representative of Jet Aviation.
- Strictly adhere to all regulations outlined in the Operations Manual (FOM) and Air Navigation Order (ANO).
- Provide comprehensive safety briefings to all passengers, covering emergency exit locations and the use of safety and emergency equipment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current on type Bombardier Global XRS.
- 500 hours on type.
- AOC Operations experience.
- Willingness to relocate to Hong Kong.
