Responsibilities:
The Global XRS Captain will be responsible for:
- Ensuring the utmost safety of all crew members, passengers, and cargo onboard the aircraft.
- Adhering to all operational procedures and checklists as outlined in the Operations Manual (FOM).
- Ensuring that all crew members occupy their designated stations prior to take-off, final approach, and landing.
- Prohibiting any crew member from performing non-essential activities during critical flight phases (take-off, initial climb, final approach, and landing).
- Maintaining the integrity of all flight data and cockpit voice recorders, ensuring that no data is erased except as required for incident or accident investigations.
- Optimizing flight crew coordination and communication to achieve a high standard of airmanship throughout the flight.
- Maintaining precise navigation and adherence to minimum altitude requirements.
- Understanding and respecting the limitations of all aircraft systems, ensuring their proper use and handling.
- Enforcing the rigorous use of checklists at all times.
- Ensuring sufficient usable fuel remains to reach a safe landing airport, including final reserve fuel.
- Maintaining close communication with the cabin crew to ensure adherence to all cabin safety requirements.
- Completing flight and technical logs accurately and thoroughly.
- Filing written occurrence and accident reports as necessary.
- Maintaining familiarity with all relevant aviation regulations, JBJH/JBJS operations manual, and industry best practices.
- Maintaining a high standard of discipline, conduct, and appearance as a representative of Jet Aviation.
- Complying with all regulations outlined in the Operations Manual (FOM) and the Air Navigation Order (ANO).
- Ensuring that all passengers are briefed on the location of emergency exits and the location and use of relevant safety and emergency equipment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current type rating for the Bombardier Global XRS aircraft.
- Minimum 500 hours of flight time on the Bombardier Global XRS.
- Experience in AOC operations.
- Willingness to relocate to Hong Kong.
