Pilatus PC-24 Captain

Jet Access is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Captain for its Pilatus PC-24 fleet. This position, based in Indianapolis, Indiana, requires on-site presence and the candidate must reside locally or be willing to relocate. The Captain reports directly to the Chief Pilot and will operate within a Part 135 environment. The successful candidate will lead the flight crew, maintain exemplary proficiency, and ensure all flights are conducted in full compliance with company policies and Federal Aviation Regulations. The Captain will also oversee the First Officer and provide exceptional service to aircraft owners, passengers, and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct aircraft operations in accordance with established procedures and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and timely flight, aircraft, and passenger records.
  • Supervise other crewmembers and ensure compliance with duty time limitations.
  • Maintain a current first-class medical certification.
  • Conduct thorough pre-flight and post-flight aircraft inspections.
  • Coordinate itinerary changes with the Operations Control Center.
  • Perform ground and in-flight security coordinator duties.
  • Ensure all required manuals, charts, and equipment are current and on board.
  • Verify crew and passenger compliance with international travel regulations.
  • Foster excellent business relations with clients.
  • Exercise operational control on behalf of the Director of Operations.
  • Document engine trend monitoring data.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Current Pilatus PC-24 Type Rating.
  • 3,000 hours total flight time.
  • 1,500 hours total Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time.
  • 500 hours multi-engine PIC time.
  • 250 hours PIC in type time.
  • 250 turbine PIC time.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ATP Qualified.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Federal Aviation Regulations applicable to FAR Part 135 and Part 91.
  • Thorough knowledge of FAA, ICAO, and other international flight operations regulations.
  • Exceptional organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal/written communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in computer applications.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively.
  • Well-groomed appearance.
  • Valid state driver’s license.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
  • Proficient in email communication.

Compensation and Benefits:

The starting salary range for this position is $120,000 - $135,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Jet Access offers a comprehensive benefits package including paid vacation, excellent job training, continuing education programs, and discounted flight training.
