Job Summary:
The Captain will lead assigned aircraft flight crews, maintaining the highest levels of proficiency and competence in accordance with company policies and Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs). Responsibilities include overseeing the First Officer in all flight duties and providing exceptional service to aircraft owners, passengers, and clients.
Crew Schedule:
The position operates on a two-crew schedule, affording employees eight hard days off each month.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
The Captain will conduct aircraft operations according to the Flight Operations Manual and company manuals, ensuring accurate and timely completion of all flight, aircraft, and passenger records. Additional responsibilities include:
- Supervising other crew members.
- Ensuring compliance with flight/duty time limitations and rest periods.
- Maintaining current first-class medical certification and completion of required training within the preceding 12 months.
- Reviewing aircraft maintenance logs and coordinating with maintenance personnel.
- Overseeing pre-flight, post-flight, and routine aircraft servicing.
- Coordinating itinerary changes with the Operations Control Center.
- Adhering to all Ground and In-flight Security Coordinator regulations (40 CFR 1544.215(b-c)).
- Maintaining current manuals, charts, and equipment onboard.
- Ensuring all crew members and passengers possess necessary travel documents (passports, visas, immunizations).
- Ensuring compliance with international arrival and departure regulations.
- Fostering positive business relationships with clients.
- Exercising operational control on behalf of the Director of Operations.
- Preventing unauthorized manipulation of aircraft controls.
- Documenting engine trend monitoring data as required.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Current PC-24 Type Rating
- 3,000 hours total flying time
- 1,500 hours total Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time
- 500 hours multi-engine PIC time
- 250 hours PIC time in type
- 250 hours turbine PIC time
Preferred Attributes:
- ATP Qualified
- Working knowledge of FAR Part 135 and Part 91 regulations
- Thorough understanding of FAA, ICAO, and international flight operations regulations
- Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Proficiency in word processing, email, and web-based applications
- Meticulous attention to detail and team-oriented approach
- Professional appearance
- Valid state driver's license
- Successful completion of background check and drug test
- Ability to effectively communicate via email
