The Aircraft Captain is responsible for leading the assigned flight crew, maintaining proficiency on the designated aircraft, and ensuring all flights adhere to company policies and Federal Aviation Regulations. They will oversee the First Officer’s duties and provide outstanding service to aircraft owners, passengers, and clients.

Schedule:

The position requires 17 scheduled duty days per month. Additional overtime opportunities may be available for premium pay. Some Part 91 owner trips may occur outside of scheduled duty days.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducts flight operations in accordance with the Flight Operations Manual and Company Manuals.
  • Ensures accurate and timely completion of all flight, aircraft, and passenger records.
  • Supervises other crew members in the performance of their duties.
  • Ensures compliance with flight/duty time limitations and rest periods.
  • Maintains a current first-class medical certificate.
  • Reviews flight and maintenance logs to confirm aircraft airworthiness, coordinating with maintenance personnel as needed.
  • Oversees preflight, post-flight, and routine aircraft servicing.
  • Coordinates client itinerary changes with the Operations Control Center.
  • Performs duties as Ground and In-flight Security Coordinator.
  • Verifies the currency of all required manuals, charts, and equipment onboard the aircraft.
  • Ensures crew members and passengers have valid travel documents.
  • Ensures compliance with international arrival and departure regulations.
  • Cultivates strong client relationships through efficient and friendly service.
  • Exercises operational control on behalf of the Director of Operations.
  • Ensures only authorized crew members manipulate aircraft controls.
  • Documents engine trend monitoring data in accordance with the engine maintenance program.
  • Completes other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Current PC-24 Type Rating
  • 3,000 Hours Total Flying Time
  • 1,500 Hours Total Pilot-In-Command (PIC) Time
  • 500 Hours Multi PIC Time
  • 250 Hours PIC in Type Time
  • 250 Turbine PIC Time

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ATP Qualified
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations applicable to FAR Part 135 and Part 91.
  • Thorough understanding of FAA, ICAO, and other international flight operations regulations.
  • Excellent organizational skills and advanced multi-tasking capabilities.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in computer applications including word processing, email, web-based systems, and mobile devices.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Professional and well-groomed appearance.
  • Valid state driver’s license.
  • Ability to successfully complete a background check and drug test.
  • Proficiency in email communication.
