Job Summary
The Captain will lead all flight operations with an unwavering dedication to safety and a commitment to exceeding aircraft owner and client expectations. This position requires exceptional technical proficiency combined with outstanding client service skills, ensuring all flights adhere strictly to company policies and Federal Aviation Regulations. The Captain will represent Jet Access's premium standards in the private aviation sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct all aircraft operations in strict accordance with the Flight Operations Manual and company policies.
- Lead and mentor assigned flight crews, providing guidance and professional development opportunities for First Officers.
- Maintain current proficiency and competence on the assigned aircraft type, fulfilling all required crewmember duties.
- Exercise operational control on behalf of the Director of Operations, ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Strictly adhere to flight and duty time limitations and rest periods as established by company policies.
- Deliver exceptional client service experiences that consistently surpass aircraft owner and passenger expectations.
- Foster strong client relationships through professional, courteous, and efficient service, promptly addressing travel needs.
- Coordinate itinerary changes seamlessly with the Operations Control Center to accommodate client requests.
- Ensure comprehensive preflight briefings and an outstanding in-flight service experience that exemplifies Jet Access standards.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor that consistently represents the brand's excellence.
- Review flight and maintenance logs to confirm aircraft airworthiness and coordinate effectively with maintenance personnel.
- Oversee preflight, post-flight, and routine servicing to ensure compliance with established policies.
- Document engine trend monitoring data as requested by the Maintenance Department.
- Verify that all necessary manuals, charts, and equipment are present and current on board the aircraft.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure all required maintenance is performed promptly and efficiently.
- Ensure all flight, aircraft, and passenger records are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Perform duties of Ground and In-flight Security Coordinators in accordance with applicable regulations.
- Confirm that crew and passengers possess valid documentation for all international travel.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations during international arrivals and departures.
- Prevent unauthorized personnel from manipulating aircraft controls.
- Undertake special projects and initiatives, contributing to Jet Access's continuous growth and success.
- Actively participate in Safety Management System initiatives and continuous improvement programs.
- Support fleet standardization efforts and the development of best practices.
- Contribute to training programs and mentor junior crew members.
- Represent Jet Access professionally at company events and client interactions.
Required Skills & Experience
- ATP Certificate
- Current First-Class Medical Certificate
- 3,000 hours total flying time
- 1,500 hours total Pilot-In-Command (PIC) time
- 500 hours Multi-Engine PIC time
- 250 hours PIC time in type (DA-2000)
- 250 hours Turbine PIC time
- Completed initial or recurrent training in the required aircraft type within the preceding 12 months.
- Working knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations applicable to FAR Part 135 and Part 91.
- Thorough understanding of FAA, ICAO, and international flight operations regulations.
- Valid state driver's license and passport.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
