Job Summary:
The Captain is responsible for leading the assigned aircraft flight crew, maintaining the highest levels of proficiency and competency, and ensuring all flights adhere strictly to company policies and Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs). This pivotal role includes overseeing the First Officer in all flight duties and providing exemplary service and support to aircraft owners, passengers, and clients.
Crew Schedule:
- Two-crew schedule
- Eight days of hard leave per month
Responsibilities:
The Captain will:
- Conduct all aircraft operations and related duties in strict accordance with the Flight Operations Manual and company policies.
- Ensure all flight, aircraft, and passenger records are meticulously completed accurately and promptly.
- Supervise all other crewmembers in the performance of their duties.
- Maintain strict compliance with flight/duty time limitations and rest periods as outlined in established company policies.
- Hold current, within the preceding 12 months, initial or recurrent training certifications.
- Maintain a current first-class medical certification.
- Review Flight/Maintenance Logs (Form MF-9/MR-10, as applicable) to confirm aircraft airworthiness and coordinate with maintenance personnel as needed.
- Oversee pre-flight, post-flight, and routine aircraft servicing according to established procedures.
- Coordinate client itinerary changes with the Operations Control Center.
- Adhere to Ground and In-flight Security Coordinator duties in accordance with 40 CFR 1544.215(b-c).
- Maintain current manuals, charts, and equipment onboard the aircraft.
- Ensure all crewmembers and passengers possess the necessary and valid passports, immunizations, visas, and clearances for customs, agricultural inspections, etc.
- Ensure international arrivals and departures are conducted in full compliance with all applicable regulations.
- Foster and maintain exceptional relationships with Jet Access Aviation, LLC, and clients, providing friendly and efficient service.
- Exercise operational control on behalf of the Director of Operations.
- Prohibit unauthorized personnel from manipulating aircraft controls. Document engine trend monitoring data as required by the Maintenance Department.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Current CE-750 Type Rating
- 3,000 hours Total Flying Time
- 1,500 hours Total Pilot-In-Command (PIC) Time
- 500 hours Multi-PIC Time
- 250 hours PIC in Type Time
- 250 hours Turbine PIC Time
Essential Skills and Attributes:
- ATP Qualified
- Comprehensive knowledge of all FARs applicable to Part 135 and Part 91 operations.
- Thorough understanding of FAA, ICAO, and other international flight operations regulations.
- Exceptional organizational skills and advanced multi-tasking abilities.
- Superior interpersonal, verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in word processing, email, and web-based/mobile device applications.
- Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a team environment.
- Maintains a well-groomed professional appearance.
- Valid state driver's license.
- Successful completion of background check and drug screening.
- Ability to read and respond to email communications.
