ATR First Officer

About the Role:
JSX is seeking highly qualified ATR First Officers to join its team. A JSX Pilot operates as a key team member, primarily responsible for the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of JSX aircraft and the transportation of Customers. JSX distinguishes itself by blending the best aspects of corporate and commercial aviation, operating as a Part 135 air carrier providing scheduled service to major cities across the West, Central, and East Coasts. Pilots at JSX enjoy a unique quality of life, beginning their duty days from private hangars, bypassing the complexities of commercial terminals, and benefiting from a schedule predominantly featuring day trips that allow more time at home. Pilots have the opportunity to select their base location, eliminating the need for commuting.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Performs all flight duties as assigned by the Pilot in Command (PIC).
- Maintains a current medical certificate as required by the company and notifies the Chief Pilot should a medical condition (physical or mental) potentially impair the ability to perform flight duties.
- Maintains vigilance for individuals in the aircraft vicinity or who may have boarded the aircraft without being escorted by authorized personnel.
Required Qualifications:
- Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Multi Certificate or Commercial Multi Certificate.
- 800 hours total flight time (military exception may apply).
- 50 hours multi-engine flight time (100 hours preferred).
- 75 hours instrument actual/simulated flight time (100 hours preferred).
- 75-100 hours flight time in the last year.
- FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
- Valid and Current Passport.
- Fluency in the English language is essential.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to engage in intermittent physical activity, including bending, reaching, and prolonged periods of sitting.
- Availability to work all shifts as required by operational needs.
- Capacity to occasionally lift 5-50 pounds.
- Capacity to occasionally team lift 50+ pounds.
