Join Honeywell's Flight Operations team. You will operate corporate aircraft ensuring the highest safety standards and passenger comfort. You will be responsible for the safe operation of our aircraft and for the safety of the passengers and crew. You will stay up to date on the latest developments in aviation, including State and Federal Aviation Regulations and work closely with ground staff and crew to run efficient flight operations. You will provide leadership to improve processes and increase efficiency of flight operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Flight planning
  • Maintenance assessments
  • Update flight manuals
  • Maintain records and logbooks
  • Weather and safety assessment
  • Safety systems management
  • Aircraft and risk assessment

YOU MUST HAVE:

  • A minimum of 2000 flight hours in turbine powered aircraft
  • A minimum of 1000 flight hours of PIC in turbine powered aircraft
  • Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate - Airplane, Multi-Engine Land
  • FAA Class 1 Medical Certificate
  • Ability to speak and understand the English Language to the proficiency level required by ICAO Annex 1
  • Ability to pass a company pre-employment drug screen
  • Ability to pass a background investigation conducted by Honeywell’s Security Department
  • Have or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine

WE VALUE:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college
  • Experience as a Chief Pilot or equivalent position with previous management experience
  • Effective communication across diverse global teams
  • Strong customer service skills, high attention to detail and excellent follow-through and responsiveness
  • Experience as the Pilot in Command of a Business Jet
  • Heavy Business Jet experience (Gulfstream 550, 600, 650)
  • International flying experience
  • Successful completion of initial ground, simulator, and flight training on the applicable aircraft
  • Experience in the use of Safety Management Systems
  • Environmental awareness and stewardship
  • Timely decision-making of complex systematic analysis
  • Risk mitigation experience
