The ideal candidate possesses an EASA (ATPL) or "frozen" ATPL license (EASA Part-FCL) and a valid EASA Class 1 Medical Certificate. While an MCC certificate is not immediately required for application and selection, an employment contract will be contingent upon confirmation of the license with MCC. An Advanced UPRT certificate is also required. The candidate must demonstrate proficiency in English, holding ICAO Level 4 or higher, and possess a strong command of German, with a minimum proficiency level of C1.
