Pilatus PC-12 Fixed Wing Pilot
Aviation organization seeks a qualified and dedicated Fixed Wing Pilatus PC-12 Pilot to provide medical air transportation services in Winner, South Dakota. The pilot will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of Pilatus PC-12 aircraft, ensuring the highest standards of safety and professionalism. Scheduled shifts operate on a 14 days on/14 days off basis, encompassing both day and night operations. The pilot will work as part of a quality, professional team committed to providing exceptional service to customers.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive salary range: $113,959.50 - $125,346.45
- Sign-on bonus: $15,000 (upon successful completion of training/checkride; no training contract required)
- Retention bonus: $40,000 (available after a 6-month waiting period; 3-year program commitment)
- Relocation assistance: $3,000
- Company-paid crew housing
Minimum Required Qualifications:
- Commercial Airplane Single Engine Land (C-ASEL) rating required. Must be willing and able to obtain ATP within 5 years of employment.
- Current FAA Class I or II Medical Certificate.
- Valid and unexpired driver's license.
- Total flight hours: 2,500
- Fixed wing flight hours: 2,000
- Pilot-in-Command (PIC) hours: 1,000
- Cross-country flight hours: 500
- Night flight hours: 100
- Instrument flight hours: 75 (with 50 actual instrument hours)
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a team of medical professionals to ensure the safe and efficient transportation of customers.
- Maintain aircraft readiness for flight dispatches, adhering to all applicable FAR and company requirements, including aircraft cleanliness.
- Maintain accurate company and regulatory documentation, including shift records and load manifests.
- Communicate effectively and collaborate with air and ground dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
- Provide comprehensive shift change information to transitioning pilots and team members, following established protocols for recording company change board details.
- Maintain required certifications and complete ongoing ground and air training.
Working Conditions:
- Work is performed in outside weather conditions.
- May be required to deice the aircraft, assist with towing and maneuvering within the hangar, and prepare the aircraft for flight.
Physical Demands:
- Required to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- May assist with loading patients, with the ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
