Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft, ensuring the safety of both crew and passengers.
• Responsible for assessing aircraft airworthiness, evaluating weather conditions impacting flight, and adhering to all applicable flight regulations and air traffic control procedures.
• Proficient in the utilization of all available tools and aids designed to maximize safety in both air and ground operations.
• Demonstrates a proactive approach to safety in all aspects of responsibilities, performance, and behavior, ensuring the successful outcome of every flight.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Possession of a valid FAA Airmen Certificate.
• Possession of a valid FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
• Possession of a valid FCC Radiotelephone Operator’s permit.
• Airbus 320 Type rating preferred.
• Must meet all requirements outlined in FAR 121.436.
• Minimum of 4000 hours total flight time.
• 1000 Jet hours as Pilot in Command under a 121 Certificate, or 1500 Jet hours as Pilot in Command under a 135 Certificate.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to maintain a valid passport.
• Ability to travel unrestricted to and from the United States.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
