First Officer - Frontier Airlines

Job Summary:
The First Officer is responsible for ensuring safe and timely flight operations while providing exceptional customer service in accordance with all Company policies and Federal Aviation Regulations. Primary duties include:
- Ensuring the safe and timely completion of flight operations in compliance with Company policies and Federal Aviation Regulations.
- Assuming responsibility for aircraft operation during assigned duty periods, including weekend, holiday, and night operations, unless relieved by authorized Company personnel.
- Conducting thorough pre- and post-flight inspections to ensure the airworthy condition of the assigned aircraft.
- Familiarizing oneself with existing and forecast weather conditions for departure, arrival, and alternate stations prior to each flight.
- Ensuring proper flight planning and fueling for safe flight execution.
- Assisting with and ensuring the proper handling of aircraft, passengers, baggage, and cargo at terminal points, while maintaining awareness of on-time departures.
- Promptly notifying crew and passengers of turbulence, adverse weather conditions, or any other operational factors affecting the flight.
- Verifying the load manifest and passenger count prior to each departure.
Requirements/Qualifications (Minimums):
- 1,500 hours total flight time (2,500 hours preferred)
- 750 hours multi-engine fixed wing
- 500 hours pilot in command (PIC)
- 500 hours jet/turboprop
- Current FAA Class 1 Medical Certificate
- ATP Certificate
- FCC Restricted Radio Operator’s Permit
- Valid US Passport, with machine-readable print, and the ability to travel in and out of the United States or valid foreign passport with authorization to work in the United States.
- Ability to travel in and out of all cities/countries served by Frontier Airlines
- Ability to relocate
- Ability and willingness to work weekends, nights, holidays, and overnight trips, including "red eyes."
- Ability and desire to maintain a well-groomed and professional appearance
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug testing and background checks
- Experience with sophisticated aircraft equipment including Electronic Flight Instrument Systems (EFIS) and Flight Management Systems (FMS) preferred
- Compliance with the company’s COVID policies which includes a requirement that all new hires are fully vaccinated by their first day of employment, to the degree permitted by law

Working Conditions and Equipment:
This position requires the use of standard office equipment (PC, copier, fax machine, printer), an iPad or electronic tablet, aircraft controls, company manuals, navigation charts, and a flashlight.
Physical Effort:
The role involves moderate physical activity, including occasional handling of objects up to 50 pounds and/or frequent handling of objects up to 20 pounds.
