First Officer - Frontier Airlines

The First Officer is responsible for ensuring safe and timely flight operations while upholding exceptional customer service in compliance with all company policies and Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR). This includes operation of the aircraft during assigned duty periods, which may involve weekend, holiday, and night operations. The First Officer conducts pre- and post-flight inspections to verify the airworthy condition of the aircraft. The role also includes thorough planning, including evaluating weather conditions and ensuring proper fuel planning for safe flight execution. The First Officer assists in proper aircraft handling, manages passenger, baggage, and cargo logistics at terminal points, and remains focused on maintaining on-time departures. They are responsible for promptly notifying crew and passengers of any factors impacting flight operations, including turbulence or weather conditions, and verifying load manifests before each flight.
Minimum Requirements:
- 1,500 hours total flight time (2,500 hours preferred)
- 750 hours multi-engine fixed wing experience
- 500 hours pilot in command (PIC) experience
- 500 hours jet/turboprop experience
- Current FAA Class 1 Medical Certificate
- Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate
- FCC Restricted Radio Operator’s Permit
- Valid U.S. Passport with machine-readable print, or a valid foreign passport with authorization to work in the United States
- Ability to travel to all cities/countries served by Frontier Airlines
- Ability to relocate
- Availability to work weekends, nights, holidays, and overnight trips
- Professional appearance
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background checks
- Experience with sophisticated aircraft equipment, such as Electronic Flight Instrument Systems (EFIS) and Flight Management Systems (FMS), is preferred.
- Compliance with the company’s COVID policies, which includes a requirement that all new hires are fully vaccinated by their first day of employment, to the degree permitted by law
