The Flight Instructor plays a critical role in shaping the future of aviation safety and proficiency. This individual delivers exceptional ground and simulator flight instruction meticulously aligned with aviation regulations and FlightSafety Training principles.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

This position requires regular use of hands for fine motor tasks, reaching with hands and arms, and clear verbal communication. The role may involve standing, walking, sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and utilizing senses of taste and smell.

Candidates must possess the physical dexterity to operate rudder controls and anti-torque mechanisms with both feet, manipulate numerous controls within the simulator environment, and comfortably enter and exit the simulator device. This includes navigating a ramp, moving between instructor stations, and potentially exiting a malfunctioning simulator in a severely pitched attitude.

The ability to lift and carry up to 10 pounds regularly and 25 pounds frequently is necessary.

The work environment may involve proximity to moving mechanical parts, high places, and exposure to varying weather conditions. Occasional exposure to wet or humid conditions, fumes, airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme temperatures, electrical hazards, radiation, and vibration should be anticipated.
