The Pilot Instructor is instrumental in delivering all simulator-based training for the Weapon System Trainer (WST), encompassing pre-briefings and debriefings. This position is dedicated to U.S. Air Force and Allied Nation KC-46 Pilots undergoing Initial, Upgrade, Requalification, and Refresher training, as well as Maintenance Personnel participating in Engine Run Initial Qualification and Refresher Training. Key responsibilities include instructing and evaluating the training progress of both Pilot and Maintenance students in accordance with established aircrew training curricula.

A Bachelor's Degree is required, or a combination of four years of relevant education and experience in addition to the experience requirements listed below.
Requires experience as a qualified Receiver Air-to-Air Refueling (AAR) Pilot Flight Instructor, or as a Receiver AAR Aircrew Training System (ATS) Instructor, with the role having been held within the last five years prior to assignment to the KC-46 ATS. A minimum of 200 logged flight hours in U.S. Air Force or Allied Nation receiver aircraft, or equivalent flight simulator, is mandatory, with at least 50% of these hours accumulated in the aircraft. Experience as a Tanker AAR Pilot Instructor is highly desirable. A type rating in the B-767 is preferred.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands and fingers, handle or feel objects, reach with hands and arms, and communicate verbally or audibly. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. The employee must possess close and distance vision with the ability to adjust focus. The noise level within the work environment is typically moderate.
