Purpose of Position

The Pilot Instructor plays a pivotal role in the execution of all simulator-based training within the Weapon System Trainer (WST) environment. This encompasses pre-briefings, debriefings, and comprehensive instruction for U.S. Air Force and Allied Nation KC-46 Pilots participating in Quarterly Refresher training. The instructor is responsible for guiding and evaluating the progress of both Pilot and Maintenance students enrolled in established aircrew training curricula.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

This role primarily involves a standard office environment, requiring extended periods of sitting, using hands and fingers for typing and handling objects, reaching with hands and arms, and engaging in verbal communication. Occasional lifting and moving of up to 20 pounds may be required. The candidate must possess close and distance vision with the ability to adjust focus. The work environment generally has a moderate noise level.
