FlightSafety International is seeking a C-17 Pilot Instructor to provide ground-based training for C-17 pilots at their facility in March ARB, CA. This role involves instructing and assessing the progress of crewmembers within an established training system curriculum.

About the Role

The Pilot Instructor is responsible for delivering comprehensive ground-based training to C-17 pilots. This includes instructing and evaluating crewmembers' performance against the established Training System (TS) curriculum. The role encompasses a variety of training types, such as Initial, Upgrade, Requalification, and Refresher courses, utilizing various training devices including simulators, part-task trainers, and classroom environments. The instructor will also deliver training on aircrew operating procedures, diagnose and remediate student difficulties, and conduct recurrent training for maintenance personnel on Engine Run courses. Responsibilities include conducting briefings, debriefings, and counseling to maintain high technical acumen and proficiency among students. The Pilot Instructor will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for KC-46 aircraft systems and operating procedures, ensuring adherence to instructional principles and contributing to courseware improvements.
