Position Overview: Cabin Attendant, Global 6000
Executive Jet Management is actively seeking highly qualified and dedicated Cabin Attendant candidates to join a new Global 6000 aircraft account based in Oxford, CT (KOXC). This pivotal role holds comprehensive responsibility for the welfare, safety, and comfort of passengers, ensuring all aspects of cabin safety and service exceed expectations. This is a unique opportunity to join a stable, long-standing account with EJM, which is expanding its fleet by adding a Global 6000 in addition to its existing Global 5000V. The account is supported by a robust team, including seven pilots, two dedicated maintenance technicians, and two Cabin Attendants, operating under both Part 91 and Part 135 regulations.
The successful candidate must reside or be willing to relocate within a two-hour radius of the Oxford, CT (KOXC) airport.
Key Responsibilities
- The Cabin Attendant meticulously coordinates all pre-flight activities, including verifying the proper maintenance status of emergency equipment, ensuring the immaculate cleanliness of the cabin, managing aircraft stocking, and confirming accurate catering orders onboard.
- Operates under direct responsibility to the assigned Pilot in Command for all scheduled trip duties, strictly complying with all Federal Air Regulations (FARs) and ensuring passenger adherence to all regulatory requirements.
- Maintains exemplary proficiency and currency as a Part 91 or Part 91/135 qualified crewmember.
- Conducts comprehensive emergency and service briefs prior to each leg of the journey, diligently ensuring the cabin is secure before taxi.
- Adheres rigorously to the General Operations Manual, all company policies, and procedures, including the Travel & Entertainment Policy for Crewmembers.
- Delivers the highest echelon of customer service to aircraft owners and charter passengers, greeting all individuals warmly and confirming the accuracy of the passenger manifest.
- Cultivates a first-class in-flight environment through expert meal preparation, anticipatory care for passengers' needs, and maintaining an orderly and pristine cabin throughout the flight.
- Is responsible for assuring that the company’s paramount goals for safety, security, and quality are consistently met through continual compliance with the company's Safety Management System (SMS) program, and by proactively reporting any safety, security, or quality recommendations or non-compliance observations through the appropriate channels.
- Manages the purchase and stocking of premium cabin supplies and catering sourced from reputable bakeries, markets, and restaurants.
- Ensures the proper cleaning and laundering of all cabin linens and serving ware.
- Possesses the ability to skillfully operate all onboard entertainment systems and equipment, along with performing basic troubleshooting.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Requirements (KSAOs)
To be considered for this prestigious role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Demonstrated customer service experience is required, with a strong preference for candidates possessing fine dining and culinary meal planning expertise.
- Possesses excellent verbal communication skills, crucial for effective interaction with passengers and crew.
- Exhibits a strong willingness to work irregular and long hours as dictated by flight schedules.
- Must successfully meet and complete the EJM Cabin Attendant Training Program.
- Certified to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and proficient in the usage of an automated external defibrillator (AED).
- Proficient with all aircraft emergency equipment and possesses comprehensive knowledge of emergency procedures.
- Knowledgeable and experienced with safe food handling procedures.
- Preference will be given to local candidates with demonstrated experience working on large cabin aircraft.
- Qualified applicants must possess current Flight Safety or Aircare FACTS training, to include "Abnormal and Emergency Procedures" and comprehensive knowledge of all areas of cabin systems and operations.
Base Salary Range
Cabin Size: Large/Heavy/Premium
Annual Salary: $60,000 - $180,000
