Position Overview
This exceptional opportunity involves the operation of a state-of-the-art Global 5000 aircraft. The successful candidate will be an integral part of a dedicated 3-pilot team, further supported by a committed on-site Maintenance Technician, ensuring unparalleled operational efficiency and safety. The role encompasses a diverse flight schedule under both Part 91 and Part 135 regulations, with approximately 450 flight hours projected annually (100 hours Part 91 / 350 hours Part 135). A significant portion, approximately 30%, of these flight operations will involve international travel to Europe, requiring comprehensive expertise in international procedures and logistics.
Key Responsibilities (Implicit)
- Ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the Global 5000 aircraft in accordance with all FAA regulations (Part 91 & 135) and company policies.
- Collaborating effectively within a 3-pilot crew to maintain a high standard of crew resource management.
- Executing international flights to European destinations, demonstrating proficiency in customs, immigration, and foreign airspace procedures.
- Maintaining currency and proficiency in all required certifications and aircraft specific ratings.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Prospective candidates must demonstrate a strong professional background and meet the following essential criteria:
- FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate.
- Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
- Extensive international flight experience, particularly to European destinations.
- Current and valid FAA BD700 (Global 5000) Type Rating.
- Demonstrated ability to perform all essential functions of the pilot position with the highest level of safety and professionalism.
Minimum Flight Time Requirements
- Total Flight Time: 3500 hours
- Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
- Pilot in Command (PIC): 2000 hours
- PIC Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 500 hours
- Instrument: 300 hours
- Jet: 500 hours
