Executive Jet Management, a distinguished Berkshire Hathaway company and a leader in private aviation, is actively seeking highly qualified and experienced aviation professionals for the esteemed position of Global 5000 Captain/Pilot. This exceptional opportunity is based at KBED (Bedford, MA) and involves operating a Global 5000 aircraft within a dynamic, three-pilot team, further supported by a dedicated Maintenance Technician.

The role encompasses both Part 91 and Part 135 operations, with an approximate annual flight time of 450 hours, comprising 100 hours under Part 91 and 350 hours under Part 135. A significant portion of travel, approximately 30%, will involve international missions to Europe, demanding extensive international operational expertise and proficiency in long-range executive jet operations.

Key Qualifications and Experience

To be considered for this challenging and rewarding role, candidates must meet the following stringent qualifications, demonstrating a robust foundation in corporate and international business aviation:

Essential Certifications & Ratings:

Possession of an FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate is mandatory.
Must hold a current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
Must be type-rated and current in the BD700 (Global 5000) aircraft, with an applicable FAA Type Rating for the fleet.

Required Experience & Skills:

Demonstrable extensive international flight experience, particularly to Europe.
A proven ability to successfully perform all essential functions of the position, ensuring safe and efficient flight operations under various conditions.

Minimum Flight Time Requirements:

Total Flight Time: 3,500 hours
Multi-Engine Land (MEL) Time: 1,500 hours
Pilot in Command (PIC) Time: 2,000 hours
PIC Multi-Engine Land (MEL) Time: 500 hours
Instrument Time: 300 hours
Jet Time: 500 hours
