Regional Chief Pilot - Northeast
Executive Jet Management seeks an experienced and driven aviation professional to join its team as Regional Chief Pilot for the Northeast region (NYC Metro area). This pivotal role offers a unique opportunity to lead and manage a team of highly skilled pilots while acting as a primary point of contact for all Part 91/135 operations within the region.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for pilots and crew members, addressing questions, concerns, and opportunities related to safe flight operations.
- Ensure unwavering compliance with company and regulatory policies and procedures by all pilots and crew members.
- Foster a culture of open communication and collaboration within the pilot team, emphasizing fitness for duty and strong cockpit resource management.
- Conduct regular on-site visits and engage in various communication channels to proactively mitigate potential risks and foster strong team dynamics.
- Collaborate seamlessly with internal departments, including Owner Services, Sales, Human Resources, Safety, and Fleet Maintenance, to ensure smooth account onboarding/offboarding, training compliance, aircraft conformity, and overall mission readiness.
- Act as a trusted point of contact for aircraft owners on all pilot-related matters, providing exceptional service and expertise.
- Support the Chief Pilot and Director of Operations in developing, implementing, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, as well as other strategic initiatives.
- Manage and guide pilots through aviation incidents or events, ensuring accurate reporting and timely follow-up.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to newly hired pilots, facilitating their smooth integration into the team during their first year of employment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Aviation, Aviation Management, or equivalent experience is highly desired.
- 10+ years of experience in Flight Operations, Dispatch, Operational Control, or a related field is essential.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a team of aviation professionals.
- In-depth knowledge of FAA regulations governing Part 91, Part 135, and Part 119 operations.
- Familiarity with ICAO SARPs and international operations is advantageous.
- Exceptional interpersonal and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle sensitive situations with tact and diplomacy.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are crucial for success in this role.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented individual with the ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time within the designated region.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Commercial Pilot License (CPL) or Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) is highly desirable.
- Previous experience in global Part 135 operations is a significant advantage.

Base Salary Range: $200,000 - $355,000
