Chief Pilot:
Baron Aviation Services has an opening for the position of Chief Pilot. We are a Part 135 Cargo Only carrier based in Rolla, Missouri. We operate 37 Cessna Caravans on contract with FedEx operating in the Central and Southern United States. This is a great opportunity to join a company in business for over 48 years.
Qualified candidates must meet the requirements of Part 119. Possess a minimum of Commercial certificate with Instrument rating, current second class medical, and able to qualify as PIC in the Caravan. Candidates must have 3 years experience as Pilot in Command of an aircraft under Part 121 or Part 135. This experience must be within the last 6 years for a first ever Chief Pilot. Possess good computer skills and a working knowledge of Word and Excel. Pass a standard 10 year background check and pre-employment drug test.
Major Responsibilities Include:
Maintaining the pilot staff including recruiting, hiring, discipline, and dismissal.
Organizing, planning, and conducting pilot training
Conducting and assigning check rides for the pilots
Assisting with the daily operations of the company.
