A320 Co-Pilot (Second Officer/First Officer) - Permanent Contract, Naples Base

The Opportunity

The successful candidate will operate from the right-hand seat, fulfilling the critical role of Second Officer or First Officer, contingent upon their accumulated flying hours and airline experience. Initial Training Overview

Selected A319/A320/A321 Co-Pilots will complete a standard Operator Conversion Course (OCC) upon commencement of employment.

Essential Requirements for the Role

Prospective applicants must satisfy the following mandatory criteria for their application to be considered:

  • Must have operated as a Commercial Passenger Co-Pilot on A320 family aircraft within the preceding twelve (12) months at the time of application.
  • Possession of a minimum of 500 total flying hours on A320 family aircraft.
  • Must hold a valid A320 Licence Proficiency Check (LPC) upon joining the airline.
  • Hold, or be willing to convert to, an Austrian EASA Licence.
  • Hold, or be willing to convert to, an Austrian EASA Class 1 Medical Certificate.
  • Demonstrate a minimum ICAO English Language Proficiency (ELP) of Level 4.
  • Must possess the unrestricted right to live and work in Italy, coupled with unrestricted access across the United Kingdom (UK), the European Economic Area (EEA), and the entire airline network.

The Selection Process

The rigorous selection process is structured into four distinct stages:

  1. STAGE 1: Online Application submission.
  2. STAGE 2: Completion of Online Assessments.
  3. STAGE 3: Comprehensive Application Review by the recruitment team.
  4. STAGE 4: Assessment Centre – Candidates successfully navigating Stages 1 through 3 will receive an invitation to attend an Assessment Centre. This stage is conducted at one of the dedicated Simulator Centres and comprises both a Non-Technical (behavioural) and a Technical (Simulator) Assessment.
