A highly skilled and experienced Captain is sought for a London-based HondaJet, operating under a direct owner contract with aircraft management provided by Clay Lacy Aviation. The successful candidate will pilot the aircraft under Part 91 regulations. This position offers both long-term and short-term contract opportunities, based at various London area airports.
This is not a commutable position, and therefore the ideal candidate must reside within a three-hour drivable commute of London. The compensation package ranges from GBP 60,000 to GBP 120,000, commensurate with experience.
The ideal candidate must possess a minimum of 3,500 total flight hours, including 2,000 hours as Pilot-in-Command (PIC), and 1,000 hours of turbine time. An FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate is mandatory. Type certification on the HondaJet is preferred, along with a minimum of 200 hours of experience in type. Candidates must be based within the UK/Europe region and reside within a three-hour driving distance of London-vicinity airports. The Captain must adhere to all Federal Aviation and EASA regulations, company operations manuals, operations specifications, standard operating procedures, and company policies & procedures. Successful candidates must pass DOT/FAA pre-employment drug screenings and background checks, and comply with random drug/alcohol testing requirements. Full, legible, color copies of all FAA and EASA (if issued) certificates (both sides), along with medical certificates and a completed disclosure form, will be required as part of the application process.
