Position Summary

SriLankan Airlines is actively seeking highly qualified and experienced A330/A320 rated First Officers for direct hire positions. Key Requirements

Candidates interested in this First Officer role with SriLankan Airlines must meet the following stringent requirements:

  • Possession of a current ICAO/EASA/FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Licence.
  • A current A330/A320 type-rating officially endorsed on the licence.
  • Demonstrable recent experience, with the last flight on type completed within the past 12 months.
  • A minimum of 1,500 total flying hours.
  • At least 500 Second in Command (SIC) hours on either A330 or A320 aircraft.
  • English Language Proficiency (ELP) Level 4 or higher.
  • A valid Class 1 Medical Certificate, issued under a single authority.
  • An impeccable safety record, free from any accident or incident history.

Compensation and Benefits Package

Remuneration

  • Contract Length: Two (2) years, with options for renewal.
  • Basic Salary: Commencing from $4,710 per month.
  • Type Allowance:
    • Single Fleet (A330 or A320 only): $400 per month.
    • Mixed Fleet (Both A320/A330): $600 per month.
  • Accommodation Allowance: $1,500 per month.
  • Settlement Allowance: A one-time payment of $2,355 at the commencement of employment.
  • Additional Earnings: Per diem and overtime opportunities.
  • Block Hours: An average of 50-65 flying hours per roster period.

Comprehensive Benefits

  • Relocation & Repatriation: Provision of flight tickets for the First Officer and eligible family members.
  • Children Support Allowance: $300 per child per month, applicable for up to three children.
  • Staff Travel: Access to ID tickets for travel across the airline's extensive network.
  • Leave: 28 days of annual leave and 14 days of sick leave.
  • Administrative Support: Assistance with Visa, Work Permit, and Licence validation processes.

Airline Training & Roster Options

  • Training Duration: Approximately 3-6 weeks, dependent on flying frequency.
  • Training Allowance: $2,500 provided during the training period.

Commuting Roster Option:

  • Schedule: A structured roster of 6 weeks ON duty followed by 2 weeks OFF duty.
  • Leave Note: This option includes 14 days of medical leave, but does not include annual leave.
  • Proration: Basic salary and type allowance will be prorated under this commuting roster arrangement.
