First Officer (A330/A320) Opportunity with SriLankan Airlines

Position Overview

SriLankan Airlines, the distinguished Flag Carrier of Asia, is seeking experienced First Officers rated for the A330 and A320 aircraft. This exciting opportunity involves a direct hire with the airline on a 2-year renewable contract, offering a competitive remuneration and benefits package. Minimum Requirements

  • Current ICAO, EASA, or FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Licence.
  • Current A330/A320 type rating endorsed on the licence.
  • Last flight on type completed within the past 12 months.
  • Minimum of 1,500 total flying hours.
  • Minimum of 500 Second-in-Command (SIC) hours on the A330/A320.
  • English Language Proficiency (ELP) Level 4 or above.
  • Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate issued under a single authority.
  • No reported accident or incident records.

Contract Terms and Remuneration

This role offers a comprehensive package designed to attract and retain top talent:

  • Contract Length: 2-year, renewable contract.
  • Basic Salary: Starting from $4,710 per month.
  • Type Allowance:
    • Single Fleet (A330 or A320 only): $400 per month.
    • Mixed Fleet (Both A320/A330): $600 per month.
  • Accommodation Allowance: $1,500 per month.
  • Settlement Allowance: A one-off payment of $2,355 at the commencement of employment.
  • Per Diems and Overtime: Additional allowances provided for duty periods.
  • Block Hours: Average of 50-65 hours per roster.

Comprehensive Benefits Package

  • Relocation & Repatriation: Flight tickets provided for the pilot and their immediate family members.
  • Children Support Allowance: $300 per child per month, up to a maximum of three children.

  • Annual Leave: 28 days of paid annual leave per year.
  • Sick Leave: 14 days of paid sick leave per year.
  • Support Services: Assistance with Visa, Work Permit, and Licence validation.

Airline Training

  • Duration: 3 to 6 weeks, dependent on flying frequency.
  • Allowance During Training: $2,500 provided.

Commuting Roster Option

A commuting roster is available, offering flexibility:

  • Schedule: 6 weeks on duty, followed by 2 weeks off. (Note: This roster excludes annual leave but includes 14 days of medical leave.)
  • Salary Proration: Basic salary and Type Allowance will be prorated accordingly.
