Position Overview
An exciting opportunity is available for qualified and experienced A330/A320 type-rated First Officers to join SriLankan Airlines, a long-established Asian flag carrier with an extensive network throughout Asia, Oceania, the Middle East, and Europe. This is a direct-hire position with the airline, offered on a two-year renewable contract basis.

Minimum Requirements
The successful candidate must meet the following minimum qualifications:
- Hold a current ICAO, EASA, or FAA Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL).
- Possess a valid A330/A320 type-rating endorsed on the licence.
- A minimum of 1,500 total flying hours.
- A minimum of 500 hours as Second-in-Command (SIC) on A330 or A320 aircraft.
- The last flight on a relevant aircraft type must be within the past 12 months.
- ICAO English Language Proficiency (ELP) of Level 4 or above.
- Hold a valid Class 1 Medical Certificate from a single, recognized authority.
- Maintain a clear accident and incident record.
Compensation and Benefits Package
Remuneration and Allowances
- Contract Term: Two-year, renewable contract.
- Basic Salary: Commencing from $4,710 per month.
- Type Allowance:
- Single Fleet (A330 or A320): $400 per month.
- Mixed Fleet (A330 and A320): $600 per month.
- Accommodation Allowance: $1,500 per month.
- Settlement Allowance: A one-off payment of $2,355 at the start of employment.
- Additional compensation includes per diem and overtime payments.
- Block Hours: Average of 50-65 hours per roster.
Comprehensive Benefits
- Relocation & Repatriation: Flight tickets are provided for the employee and eligible family members.
- Children Support Allowance: $300 per child per month for up to three children.
- Staff Travel: Access to ID tickets across the SriLankan Airlines network.
- Leave Entitlement: 28 days of annual leave and 14 days of sick leave.
- Support Services: Full assistance with visa, work permit, and licence validation.

Training and Roster Options
Airline Training
- An initial training program of 3-6 weeks will be provided, with the duration depending on flying frequency.
- A training allowance of $2,500 will be paid during this period.
Commuting Roster Option
- An optional commuting roster of 6 weeks ON / 2 weeks OFF is available.
- This option includes 14 days of medical leave but does not include annual leave. Basic salary and type allowance are prorated accordingly.
