Position Overview

An opportunity exists for A330/A320 rated First Officers to join SriLankan Airlines on a direct hire basis. This role offers a renewable two-year contract with an attractive remuneration and benefit package.

Key Responsibilities

Operate as a First Officer on A330/A320 aircraft for SriLankan Airlines.

Requirements

• Current ICAO/EASA/FAA ATP Licence
• Current A330/A320 type-rating endorsed on the licence
• Last flight on type within the past 12 months
• Total Flying Hours: 1,500 hours
• Total hours on A330/A320: 500 SIC hours
• English Language Proficiency (ELP) - Level 4 or above
• Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate issued by one authority
• No accident or incident records

Contract and Compensation

• Contract Length: 2-year, renewable
• Basic Salary: Starting from $4,710 per month
• Type Allowance:
  • Single Fleet (A330 or A320): $400 per month
  • Mixed Fleet (A320/A330): $600 per month
• Accommodation Allowance: $1,500 per month
• Settlement Allowance: $2,355 (one-off at commencement of employment)
• Per Diem and Overtime pay
• Block Hours: Average of 50-65 hours per roster

• Relocation and Repatriation: Flight tickets provided for the employee and eligible family members
• Children Support Allowance: $300 per child per month, up to a maximum of three children
• Staff Travel: ID tickets available on SriLankan Airlines network
• Annual Leave: 28 days

• Support for Visa, Work Permit, and Licence validation

• Accident and Loss of Licence Insurance

Airline Training

• Duration: 3-6 weeks (contingent on flying frequency)
• Allowance during Training: $2,500

Commuting Roster Option

• Schedule: 6 weeks ON - 2 weeks OFF (annual leave not applicable; 14 days medical leave provided)
• Note: Basic salary and Type allowance will be prorated for commuting roster.
