The Opportunity
SriLankan Airlines is actively seeking highly qualified and experienced A330/A320 rated First Officers to augment its professional flight crew. Candidate Requirements
Prospective First Officers must meet the following essential criteria:
- Possession of a current ICAO, EASA, or FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Licence.
- A current A330/A320 type-rating, validly endorsed on the pilot's licence.
- The last flight on the specified aircraft type (A330/A320) must have been completed within the past 12 months.
- A minimum total flying experience of 1,500 hours.
- A minimum of 500 Second in Command (SIC) hours specifically on A330/A320 aircraft.
- English Language Proficiency (ELP) endorsement of Level 4 or higher.
- A valid Class 1 Medical Certificate, issued and maintained under a single Authority.
- A verifiable record free from any accident or incident history.

Remuneration Details
- Contract Length: A 2-year direct employment contract with the airline, renewable upon mutual agreement.
- Basic Salary: Commencing from $4,710 per month.
- Type Allowance:
- For Single Fleet Operations (exclusively A330 or A320): $400 per month.
- For Mixed Fleet Operations (both A320/A330): $600 per month.
- Accommodation Allowance: $1,500 per month.
- Settlement Allowance: A one-off payment of $2,355 provided at the commencement of employment.
- Additional Compensation: Eligibility for per diem and overtime payments.
- Average Block Hours: Typically ranging from 50 to 65 block hours per roster period.
Comprehensive Benefits

- Children Support Allowance: $300 per child per month (applicable for up to three children).

Airline Training & Development
- Training Duration: Initial training typically spans 3-6 weeks, subject to flying frequency.

Commuting Roster Option
A flexible commuting roster option is available, structured as follows:
- 6 weeks ON duty, followed by 2 weeks OFF duty.
- Please note that the commuting roster option does not include annual leave entitlements, but the 14-day medical leave remains applicable.
- Basic salary and Type allowance will be prorated when operating under the commuting roster option.
