The Opportunity: A330/A320 First Officer
An exciting opportunity exists for highly skilled and motivated A330/A320 rated First Officers to join SriLankan Airlines on a direct hire, 2-year renewable contract. Key Requirements
Prospective candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Possession of a current ICAO, EASA, or FAA ATP (Airline Transport Pilot) Licence.
- Current A330 type-rating endorsed on the licence.
- A minimum of 1,500 total flying hours.
- A minimum of 500 Second in Command (SIC) hours on A330 or A320 aircraft.
- English Language Proficiency (ELP) - Level 4 or above.
- Holding a valid Class 1 Medical Certificate issued under a single Authority.
- A clean accident/incident record.

Contract Terms
- Contract Length: 2-year, renewable contract.
- Basic Salary: From $4,710 per month.
- Type Allowance:
- Single fleet (Only A330 or A320): $400 per month.
- Mixed fleet (Both A320/A330): $600 per month.
- Accommodation Allowance: $1,500 per month.
- Settlement Allowance: A one-off payment of $2,355 at the commencement of employment.
- Per Diem + Overtime.
- Average Block Hours: 50-65 hours per roster.
Comprehensive Benefits
- Relocation & Repatriation Assistance: Flight tickets provided for the First Officer and eligible family members.
- Children Support Allowance: $300 per child per month (for up to 3 children).
- Staff Travel: ID tickets available within the airline's network.
- Annual Leave: 28 days per year.
- Sick Leave: 14 days per year.
- Support with Visa, Work Permit, and Licence Validation.
- Medical Scheme coverage.
- Accident and Loss of Licence Insurance.
Airline Training
- Training Duration: Approximately 3-6 weeks, dependent on flying frequency.
- Training Allowance: A $2,500 allowance provided during the training period.
Commuting Roster Option
A flexible commuting roster option is available:
- Schedule: 6 weeks ON duty followed by 2 weeks OFF duty.
- Note: This option does not include annual leave but maintains the 14-day medical leave entitlement.
- Salary Proration: Basic salary and Type allowance will be prorated under the commuting roster option.
