The Opportunity: A320/A330 First Officer

The airline is currently seeking exceptional A320/A330 First Officers to contribute to its modern fleet and uphold its commitment to safety and operational excellence. This role presents a unique chance to grow professionally within a vibrant, national airline.

Contract and Career Progression

Successful candidates will initially be offered a one-year fixed-term contract. Based on satisfactory performance and the airline's operational requirements, there will be a clear opportunity for absorption into the permanent cadre, marking a significant milestone in one's professional aviation career.

Essential Requirements for Direct Entry First Officers with Type Endorsements (A320 or A330)

Prospective applicants must meet the following stringent criteria:

A current Air Transport Pilot License (ATPL) recognized by the Civil Aviation Authority of Sri Lanka (CAASL) with a valid Instrument Rating (IR).
A current Type Rating for either the A320 or A330 aircraft.
Demonstrated flying experience comprising a minimum total of 2000 hours on aircraft with a Maximum Takeoff Weight (MTOW) exceeding 50,000 kilograms (e.g., jet aircraft such as the A320 or equivalent or higher). This must include at least 500 P2 (Pilot Flying or Pilot Monitoring) hours on type (A320 or A330, or a combination of both).
The applicant’s License and Class 1 Medical Certificate must be current and issued under a single, recognized Aviation Authority.
An ICAO English Language Proficiency (ELP) Level 4 or above.
