Position Overview
The First Officer will be responsible for co-piloting Airbus A330 and/or A320 aircraft, ensuring the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and operational excellence on international routes. Essential Requirements
- Current ICAO/EASA/FAA Air Transport Pilot (ATP) Licence.
- Valid A330 and/or A320 type-rating prominently endorsed on the licence.
- Last flight on the specified type within the past 12 months.
- Minimum of 1,500 total flying hours.
- Minimum of 500 Second in Command (SIC) hours on A330 and/or A320 aircraft.
- English Language Proficiency (ELP) - Level 4 or above.
- Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate issued under a single Authority.
- Unblemished accident/incident record.
Terms of Employment
- Contract Length: 2-year renewable term, offering long-term career stability.
- Basic Salary: Commencing from $4,710 per month.
- Type Allowance:
- Single Fleet (A330 or A320 only): $400 per month.
- Mixed Fleet (Both A320/A330): $600 per month.
- Accommodation Allowance: $1,500 per month.
- Settlement Allowance: A one-off payment of $2,355 at the commencement of employment.
- Additional Remuneration: Per diem and overtime payments.
- Average Block Hours: 50-65 hours per roster.
Comprehensive Benefits Package
- Relocation & Repatriation: Flight tickets provided for the pilot and accompanying family members.
- Children Support Allowance: $300 per child per month (applicable for up to 3 children).
- Staff Travel: Eligibility for ID tickets across SriLankan Airlines' extensive network.
- Annual Leave: 28 days per annum.
- Sick Leave: 14 days per annum.
- Support Services: Assistance with Visa, Work Permit, and Licence validation.

Airline Training Program
- Duration: 3-6 weeks, dependent on flying frequency and individual requirements.
- Training Allowance: A generous allowance of $2,500 provided during the training period.
Commuting Roster Option
A flexible commuting roster is available for qualified candidates:
- Roster Pattern: 6 weeks ON, followed by 2 weeks OFF.
- Leave Entitlement: This option does not include annual leave but maintains eligibility for 14 days of medical leave.
- Salary Proration: Basic salary and Type allowance will be prorated accordingly for this roster option.
