Position Overview
Reporting directly to the Director of Flight Operations, the A320 Captain will assume a critical leadership role in ensuring the highest standards of safety and efficiency in all flight operations. Successful candidates will have the privilege of flying state-of-the-art aircraft, participating in comprehensive training programs, and collaborating with a dedicated team focused on achieving operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities and Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Possession of a valid Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL) issued by CASA, EASA, ICAO, or FAA, with a current A320 type rating endorsement.
- A valid First Class Medical Certificate.
- A minimum of 4,500 total flying hours accumulated.
- At least 1,500 hours of flight experience specifically on the A320 type.
- A minimum of 1,500 hours served as Pilot in Command (PIC), including at least 500 hours as PIC on the A320.
- The last flight on the A320 type must have occurred within the preceding 12 months.
- An impeccable record with no history of flight accidents or incidents.
- Demonstrated English language proficiency, assessed at ICAO Level 4 or higher.
Contract and Compensation
Employment Terms:
- A fixed-term contract of 2 years, with the possibility of renewal.
- A comprehensive remuneration package including: Basic Salary, Housing Allowance, Special Allowance, a One-Time Relocation Allowance, Flight Hour Rate, and Flight Sector Rate.
- An entitlement of 16 days of paid annual leave per year.
- Additional benefits encompass flight tickets, ground transportation, health insurance, and support for family travel.
- Flexible roster options are available: 5 weeks on duty followed by 1 week off, or 9 weeks on duty followed by 2 weeks off.
