Position Overview
The A320 Captain will report directly to the Director of Flight Operations. This position is integral to maintaining safe and efficient flight operations. Captains will experience flying state-of-the-art aircraft, benefit from comprehensive training programs, and collaborate with a dedicated team focused on achieving operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Commanding Airbus A320 aircraft in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Ensuring the safety and security of all passengers and crew during flight operations.
- Maintaining operational efficiency and adherence to flight schedules.
- Leading and managing the flight crew to ensure professional performance.
- Collaborating with dispatch and ground operations for seamless flight planning and execution.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
- Valid Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL) issued by CASA, EASA, ICAO, or FAA, with a current A320 type rating endorsement.
- Current and valid First Class Medical Certificate.
- Minimum of 4,500 total flying hours.
- At least 1,500 hours of flying experience on the A320 type.
- A minimum of 1,500 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC), including at least 500 hours as PIC on the A320.
- The last flight on type must have been within the preceding 12 months.
- No history of flight accidents or significant incidents.
- English language proficiency, assessed at Level 4 or above.
Contract Terms and Benefits
- A renewable 2-year contract.
- Competitive remuneration package including: Basic Salary, Housing Allowance, Special Allowance, One-Time Relocation Allowance, Flight Hour Rate, and Flight Sector Rate.
- 16 days of annual leave per year.
- Additional benefits include: Flight tickets, ground transportation, comprehensive health insurance, and support for family tickets.
- Flexible roster options: 5 weeks on duty followed by 1 week off, or 9 weeks on duty followed by 2 weeks off.
