BA Euroflyer, a division of British Airways, is seeking experienced pilots to join its team as Direct Entry Captains at London Gatwick. This role offers the opportunity to fly to desirable short-haul destinations across Europe and North Africa, upholding the trusted standards of British Airways.
About the Role
As a Direct Entry Captain, you will be an integral part of a dynamic team, contributing to BA Euroflyer's mission of delivering premium service on short-haul routes. The position features a fixed pattern roster, allowing for genuine lifestyle balance with the ability to return to base each evening. A bidding system and swap function are available to tailor schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate as Captain on BA Euroflyer routes from London Gatwick.
- Maintain the high standards of service and safety associated with British Airways.
- Collaborate with a close-knit team to ensure operational efficiency and passenger satisfaction.

- Starting salary of £114,000 (subject to pay review 2026) plus circa £25,150 in allowances (based on 800 flying hours/year).

Candidate Requirements
- UK-issued CAA ATPL (A), fATPL (A), MPL or EASA licence meeting UK CAA conversion routes (3, 4, 5 or 6).
- 3000 hours total time on an aircraft type that satisfies ZFTT, with recent operation on this type within the last 6 months.
- 1000 hours PIC, with recent operation as PIC within the last 6 months.
- Right to live/work in the UK or ability to hold an RTW visa.
- ICAO English Level 6.
- Valid passport.
- Valid Class 1 medical.
Important Notes
- Reapply periods apply: 6 months for initial stages, 12 months for SIM stage.
- Candidates may apply to only one BA Group airline at a time.
- Hold pool candidates may receive up to two job offers.
