Part-Time Flight Attendant - RDU Crew Base

About the Role
As a highly visible member of the Breeze Airways team, the Part-Time Flight Attendant is entrusted with the paramount responsibility of guest and crew safety and well-being. This position requires a commitment to welcoming and accommodating guests, adeptly managing high-stress situations, fostering collaboration and problem-solving with fellow team members, and exercising sound judgment. Part-Time Flight Attendant Job Details
- A guaranteed minimum of 37.5 flying hours per month.
- Candidates must reside within a two-hour driving distance of Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU).
- Successful completion of the interview process and selection as a Part-Time Breeze Flight Attendant.
- Successful completion of the initial Flight Attendant training program.
Minimum Qualifications for Success
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent educational achievement.
- Height Requirements: Ability to reach and remove emergency equipment from overhead bins unaided and possess adequate head clearance within the aircraft cabin.
- Ability to securely fasten and remain in the Flight Attendant jumpseat seatbelt harness.
- Maintain a neat, well-groomed appearance, capable of making a positive first impression.
- Demonstrate a strong service orientation.
- Adhere to the highest hygiene standards as outlined by the CDC.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding the English language; ability to communicate safety instructions clearly.
- Ability to successfully pass vision and hearing tests.
- Successful completion of security screening training.
- Must pass a DOT pre-employment drug test.
- Must pass a TSA-required fingerprint-based criminal history records check and a Breeze background check.
- Possess the legal right to work in the United States and travel without restriction to and from the U.S.
- Current Passport with a minimum of six (6) months remaining validity prior to expiration is mandatory.
- Ability to serve alcoholic beverages in accordance with regulations.
- Willingness to relocate based on operational needs, if applicable.
- Availability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours as required.
- Ability to report for duty at the assigned base for scheduled trips and be available for "Reserve Assignment" within the assigned base.
- Exhibit self-starter qualities, a positive attitude, and a strong drive for success.
- Adherence to grooming standards, including specific guidelines for nose piercings (single, 2mm or smaller stud in silver, gold, or gemstone; no hoops) and limitations on other facial piercings, teeth embellishments, and earrings while in uniform. Tattoos may be visible if they comply with company guidelines, which will be provided during the selection process.

- Willingness to assist in other departments as needed.
- Comfortably utilize, implement, and explain Breeze's Inflight technology.
- Prepare and serve meals, snacks, and beverages, including alcoholic drinks, while adhering to the highest hygiene standards.
- Maintain cabin cleanliness and galley organization, comfortable working in compact spaces.
- Provide clear instructions, including emergency and evacuation procedures, to guests.
- Administer first-aid and medical care as required in emergency situations.
- Effectively manage personal and emotional responses, acting appropriately under high levels of stress.
- Conduct security screenings as mandated.
- Complete Autism Awareness Training.
- Adhere strictly to FAA and Department of Transportation (DOT) travel regulations.

- Physical capabilities necessary for daily operations, including lifting up to 50 pounds, operating emergency exits, and standard door procedures.
- Ability to close overhead compartments with a push/pull force of approximately 50 pounds.
- Proficiency in assisting passengers with disabilities with boarding, deplaning, and in-flight mobility.
- Ability to push/pull beverage and food carts on wheels, including inclines, with a maximum force of approximately 60 pounds.
- Proficiency in all safety-related procedures.
