Simulator Instructor - Aviation Training
CAE is seeking a qualified Simulator Instructor to join its team. This role is pivotal in ensuring all training activities are conducted in strict compliance with regulatory approvals, defined standards, and established processes, upholding the highest levels of safety, compliance, and training quality.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct training duties in accordance with the FSI job description and applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Recommend revisions to SOPs as appropriate to enhance training effectiveness.

Assist in the preparation of courseware and training materials, including theoretical examinations, to meet regulatory requirements.

Monitor client/student progress and develop action plans for those requiring additional support to meet required standards.

Promote and support improvements and enhancements to processes, documentation, courseware, and training materials utilized by the Approved Training Organisation (ATO).

Participate in Progress, Academic & Disciplinary Review Boards, providing recommendations for remedial action concerning training progress or disciplinary issues.

Undertake any other duties as assigned by the Lead Instructor or Head of Training (HOT) / Director of Training (DOT).
Required Qualifications:

Hold or have held the type rating for the relevant aircraft type.

Possess a minimum of 2000 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC) on a multi-crew jet transport aircraft, or 1000 hours PIC on the relevant aircraft type.

Hold or have held an ICAO-recognized ATPL/CPL/MPL with a minimum ICAO English Level 5.

Hold or have held a Flight Instructor Rating, or an equivalent rating or certification.
Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience as a Flight Simulator Instructor or Type Rating Instructor.

Previous experience in Airline or ATO training.

Knowledge of civil aviation regulations governing civil aviation training.
