Part Time Flight Attendant - PVU Crew Base

Breeze Airways is seeking dedicated and "Seriously Nice" Part Time Flight Attendants for its PVU Crew Base. As a highly visible member of the team, Flight Attendants are instrumental in ensuring the safety and comfort of all guests and team members. This role requires individuals who can welcome and accommodate guests, effectively manage high-stress situations, collaborate with colleagues, exercise sound judgment, and embody Breeze's commitment to kindness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide an exceptional guest experience, including warm welcomes, seating assistance, and luggage stowage.
  • Maintain a positive and kind demeanor, ensuring guests feel valued and appreciated.
  • Uphold a safe work environment for guests and team members.
  • Remain calm and effective in high-stress situations.
  • Communicate effectively and collaborate respectfully with fellow team members.
  • Monitor the cabin to remain approachable and accommodating.
  • Adapt to schedule changes due to operational or weather-related delays.
  • Maintain compliance with FAA regulations, company procedures, and training requirements.
  • Demonstrate punctuality, timeliness, and proactivity.
  • Adhere to professional appearance and etiquette guidelines.
  • Assist in other departments as needed.
  • Utilize and explain Breeze's Inflight technology.
  • Prepare and serve meals, snacks, and beverages while adhering to hygiene standards.
  • Maintain cabin cleanliness and galley organization.
  • Provide emergency and evacuation procedure instructions to guests.
  • Administer first-aid and medical care in emergencies.
  • Manage personal and emotional responses effectively under stress.
  • Conduct security screenings.
  • Complete Autism Awareness Training.
  • Adhere to FAA and DOT travel regulations.
  • Achieve performance measures and uphold established standards in alignment with Breeze Aviation Group Values: Safety, Kindness, Integrity, Ingenuity, and Excellence.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 21 years of age or older.
  • High school diploma or equivalent educational achievement.
  • Physical ability to reach and remove emergency equipment from overhead bins without assistance.
  • Adequate head clearance in the aircraft cabin.
  • Ability to sit and buckle into the E190 and A220 Flight Attendant jumpseat seatbelt harness and lap belt.
  • Neat, well-groomed appearance capable of making a positive impression.
  • Service-oriented mindset.
  • Adherence to the highest hygiene standards as outlined by the CDC.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language; ability to communicate safety instructions to non-English speaking guests may be required.
  • Ability to pass a vision and hearing test.
  • Ability to successfully complete security screening training.
  • Must pass a DOT pre-employment drug test.
  • Must pass a TSA required fingerprint-based criminal history records check and a Breeze background check.
  • Legal right to work in the U.S.
  • Legal right to travel without restriction to/from the United States.
  • Current Passport with a minimum of six (6) months remaining prior to expiration.
  • Ability to serve alcoholic beverages.
  • Willingness to relocate based on company operational needs, if applicable.
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours as needed.
  • Ability to report for work in assigned base for assigned trips.
  • Ability to work "Reserve Assignment" in assigned base.
  • Self-starter with a positive attitude and strong desire for success.
  • Nose piercings must adhere to company guidelines: single 2mm or smaller stud in silver, gold, or gemstone; no hoops. Other facial piercings are not permitted.
  • No teeth embellishments while in uniform.
  • Maximum of two (2) earrings per ear while in uniform.
  • Tattoos may be visible if within company guidelines, which will be provided during the selection process.

  • Physical abilities required for day-to-day operations, including lifting luggage, operating window exits, and standard door procedures; ability to lift fifty (50) pounds.
  • Ability to close overhead storage compartments with a maximum push/pull force of approximately fifty (50) pounds.
  • Ability to assist disabled passengers into and out of the Inflight wheelchair and transport them as needed.
  • Ability to push/pull beverage and food carts on wheels up and down inclines with a maximum force of approximately sixty (60) pounds.
  • Proficiency in performing all safety-related procedures.
  • Embodiment of Breeze's safety culture, values, and mission, demonstrating a "Seriously Nice" attitude.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Skilled in handling difficult situations, problem-solving, complaint resolution, and conflict de-escalation.
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals and teams at all organizational levels.

Job Details:

  • Monthly flying hour guarantee: 37.5 hours.
  • Must reside within a two-hour driving distance of Provo Municipal Airport.
  • Successful completion of initial Flight Attendant training is required.
