Part Time Flight Attendant - RDU Crew Base

Breeze Airways is seeking "Seriously Nice" Part Time Flight Attendants for its RDU Crew Base. As a highly visible team member, Flight Attendants are responsible for the safety and comfort of guests and fellow team members. This role requires welcoming and accommodating guests, mitigating high-stress situations, collaborating with team members, exercising good judgment, and embodying Breeze's core values: Safety, Kindness, Integrity, Ingenuity, and Excellence.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide an exceptional guest experience, including welcoming guests, assisting with seating, and stowing luggage.
  • Maintain a positive and kind demeanor, ensuring guests feel valued and appreciated.
  • Uphold a safe work environment for guests and team members.
  • Remain calm under pressure and effectively mitigate high-stress situations.
  • Communicate, collaborate, and show respect for other team members.
  • Monitor the cabin regularly to remain approachable and accommodating.
  • Adapt to schedule changes due to operational, weather-related, or unforeseen delays.
  • Maintain compliance with FAA regulations, company procedures, and training requirements.

  • Adhere to professional appearance and etiquette guidelines.
  • Willingness to assist in other departments as necessary.
  • Utilize, implement, and explain Breeze's Inflight technology.
  • Prepare and serve meals, snacks, and beverages (including alcohol) while adhering to hygiene standards.
  • Maintain cabin cleanliness and galley organization.
  • Provide instruction on safety and emergency procedures to guests.
  • Administer first-aid and medical care in emergency situations.
  • Manage personal and emotional responses effectively under stress.
  • Conduct security screenings.
  • Complete Autism Awareness Training.
  • Adhere to FAA and DOT travel regulations.
  • Achieve performance measures and adhere to established standards in conjunction with Breeze Aviation Group Values.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 21 years of age or older.
  • High school diploma or equivalent educational achievement.
  • Height minimum to reach and remove emergency equipment from overhead bins without assistance.
  • Adequate head clearance in the cabin.
  • Ability to sit and buckle into the E190 and A220 Flight Attendant jumpseat seatbelt harness and lap belt.
  • Neat, well-groomed, and capable of making a positive impression.
  • Service-oriented.
  • Adherence to the highest possible hygiene standards.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
  • Ability to pass a vision and hearing test.
  • Ability to successfully complete security screening training.
  • Must pass a DOT pre-employment drug test.
  • Must pass a TSA required fingerprint-based criminal history records check and a Breeze background check.
  • Legal right to work in the U.S.
  • Legal right to travel without restriction to/from the United States.
  • Current Passport with a minimum of six (6) months remaining prior to expiration.
  • Ability to serve alcoholic beverages.
  • Willingness to relocate based on the company’s operational needs if applicable.
  • Able to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours if needed.
  • Able to report for work in the assigned base for assigned trips.
  • Able to work "Reserve Assignment" in the assigned base.
  • Self-starter with a positive attitude and strong desire for success.
  • Nose piercings acceptable if they are studs only (single 2mm or smaller, silver, gold, or gemstone) and follow company guidelines. No hoops or other facial piercings allowed.
  • No teeth embellishments in uniform.
  • No more than two (2) earrings per ear while in uniform.
  • Tattoos may be visible while in uniform if they are within company guidelines.

  • Ability to push/pull beverage and food carts on wheels with a maximum force of approximately sixty (60) pounds.
  • Ability to perform all safety-related procedures.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Skilled in handling difficult situations, problem-solving, complaint resolution, and conflict de-escalation.

Job Details

  • Monthly guarantee of 37.5 flying hours.
  • Must live within a two-hour driving distance from Raleigh-Durham International Airport.
  • Must interview and be selected to become a Part Time Breeze Flight Attendant.
  • Must successfully complete initial Flight Attendant training.
