Job Summary

Breeze Airways is seeking "Seriously Nice" Part-Time Flight Attendants for its PVD Crew Base. This role is responsible for ensuring the safety and comfort of guests and team members by providing exceptional service, mitigating stressful situations, and collaborating effectively. Responsibilities

  • Provide an exceptional guest experience, including warm welcomes, assistance with seating and stowage, and ongoing support.
  • Maintain a positive and kind demeanor, ensuring guests feel valued and appreciated.
  • Contribute to a safe work environment for guests and team members.
  • Remain calm and effectively mitigate high-stress situations.
  • Communicate effectively, collaborate, and show respect for fellow team members.
  • Monitor the cabin regularly to remain approachable and accommodating.
  • Demonstrate flexibility to adapt to schedule changes due to operational or weather-related delays.
  • Stay current and compliant with FAA regulations, company procedures, and training requirements.

  • Assist in other departments as necessary.
  • Utilize, implement, and explain Breeze's Inflight technology.
  • Prepare and serve meals, snacks, and beverages, adhering to high hygiene standards.
  • Maintain cabin cleanliness and galley organization, working comfortably in confined spaces.
  • Provide instruction on emergency and evacuation procedures to guests.
  • Administer first-aid and medical care in emergency situations.
  • Manage personal and emotional responses appropriately under stress.
  • Conduct security screenings.
  • Complete Autism Awareness Training.
  • Adhere to FAA and DOT travel regulations.
  • Achieve performance measures and adhere to established standards aligned with Breeze Aviation Group Values.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 21 years of age or older.
  • High school diploma or equivalent educational achievement.
  • Height minimum to reach and remove emergency equipment from overhead bins without assistance.
  • Adequate head clearance in the cabin.
  • Ability to sit and buckle into the E190 and A220 Flight Attendant jumpseat seatbelt harness and lap belt.
  • Neat, well-groomed, and capable of making a positive impression.
  • Service-oriented.
  • Adherence to highest possible hygiene standards as outlined by the CDC.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
  • Ability to pass a vision and hearing test.
  • Ability to successfully complete security screening training.
  • Must pass a DOT pre-employment drug test.
  • Must pass a TSA required fingerprint-based criminal history records check and a Breeze background check.
  • Legal right to work in the U.S.
  • Legal right to travel without restriction to/from the United States.
  • Current Passport with a minimum of six (6) months remaining prior to expiration.
  • Ability to serve alcoholic beverages.
  • Willingness to relocate based on the company’s operational needs, if applicable.
  • Able to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours as needed.
  • Able to report for work in the assigned base for assigned trips.
  • Able to work "Reserve Assignment" in the assigned base.
  • Self-starter with a positive attitude and strong desire for success.
  • Nose piercings acceptable: Studs only (single 2mm or smaller), silver, gold, or gemstone. No hoops. No other facial piercings.
  • No teeth embellishments in uniform.
  • No more than two (2) earrings per ear while in uniform.

  • Ability to push/pull beverage and food carts on wheels up and down inclines with a maximum force of approximately sixty (60) pounds.
  • Ability to perform all safety-related procedures.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Skilled in handling difficult situations, problem-solving, complaint resolution, and conflict de-escalation.
  • Ability to work with individuals and teams at all levels in the organization.

Job Details

  • Monthly Guarantee: 37.5 flying hours per month.
  • Must live within a two-hour driving distance from Rhode Island T.F. Green International Airport.
  • Must interview and be selected to become a Part-Time Breeze Flight Attendant.
  • Must successfully complete initial Flight Attendant training.
