Captain Position – Airbus A320 – China

This prestigious Captain position offers a unique opportunity to join a leading airline operating within China. The successful candidate will command an Airbus A320 aircraft, contributing to a dynamic and expanding operation.

Contract Details:

Position: Captain
Aircraft Type: Airbus A320
Initial Contract Period: Four years, renewable based on performance.
Location: China
Base: Guangzhou/Sanya (highly recommended); Qingdao (available); Beijing/Hangzhou (not recommended). A commuting program is available.

Requirements:

Flight Hours: 4,000+ total flight hours; 1,000+ PIC hours on the A320 type rating. Must be current on type within six months of application. The last proficiency test must be within its validity period.
Age: 52 years of age or younger.
Language Proficiency: ICAO Level 4 English proficiency or higher.
Nationality: No restrictions.
License: Valid ATPL issued by a country with diplomatic relations with the People's Republic of China. No license limitations (e.g., VMC circle to land restriction).
Type Rating: A320 Type Rating required.
Medical Certificate: Class A/Class 1 medical certificate.
Background: A clean flight accident history (documentation required from current/previous employer or CAA). A clean criminal record, legally notarized within three months of the background check commencement, from the pilot's country of nationality and/or residence (residency documentation required).

Compensation and Benefits:

Monthly Salary: US$3,000
Hourly Rate: US$145
Monthly Flying Bonus: US$200/day
Safety Bonus: RMB 50,000 * (annual flight hours / 900)
Peak Season Perfect Attendance Bonus: In accordance with the company's annual incentive policy.
Annual Completion Bonus: Based on annual flight hours: Less than 500 hours – US$5,000; 500-600 hours – US$10,000; 600-700 hours – US$15,000; Above 700 hours – US$20,000.
Contract Renewal Bonus: RMB 100,000
Travel Benefits: As per airline regulations.
Housing Allowance: To be determined.
Domestic Night Flight Allowance: US$12/hour
Domestic Overnight Allowance: US$60/day
International Flight Allowance: US$50/flight
International Night Flight Allowance: US$50/day
Quarantine Allowance: Two hours of hourly flying pay per day.
Paid Annual Leave: 15 days per year.
Paid Sick Leave: As per airline manual.
Days Off: Flexible, subject to pilot request (first 15 days 100% paid, remaining days 80% paid).

Additional Information:

A valid passport, with at least 12 months' remaining validity, issued by a country having diplomatic relations with the People's Republic of China is required.
