Anderson Air, a distinguished full-service aircraft management company providing executive charter services, seeks a highly skilled and experienced First Officer (SIC) to join its esteemed team. As First Officer (SIC), under the supervision of the Pilot in Command (PIC), this individual will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of flights. The First Officer's expertise and dedication will ensure compliance with all regulations. This role is crucial to the company's continued success and reputation within the industry. Duties will primarily involve operating both 604 (Private, non-revenue) and 704 (Charter, revenue) non-scheduled domestic and international passenger flights. The First Officer will be assigned to a dedicated aircraft and will work as part of a three-pilot team, alongside two dedicated Captains and a dedicated cabin attendant. Full flight support and dedicated maintenance are provided to ensure seamless operations.
Responsibilities:
- Assume responsibility for the safe conduct of each flight, ensuring the highest level of safety for passengers, crew, and the aircraft.
- Adhere to all aviation regulations, company policies, and procedures, including those outlined in the operations manual.
- Serve as Second in Command for both 604 and 704 non-scheduled domestic and international passenger flights.
- Communicate effectively with the crew, passengers, and air traffic control to ensure smooth operations and timely departures and arrivals.
- Provide clear guidance, instructions, and support to the flight crew, fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as maintenance and dispatch, to ensure seamless operations and resolve any issues or concerns.
- Crew are expected to go above and beyond whenever possible.
Experience:
- Minimum 2500 hours total flight time.
- Minimum 500 hours Pilot in Command (PIC) time.
- Minimum 100 hours jet aircraft time.
- Transport Canada Commercial Pilot License (CPL).
- Completed IATRA exam.
- Experience with medium to large aircraft.
- Corporate aviation experience.
- Ability to travel outside Canada.
- Ability to work in Canada.
