Minimum Qualifications for Consideration

Prospective candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • Possession of a valid unrestricted ATP certificate with an airplane category multi-engine class rating and English proficiency endorsement.
  • Hold a current unrestricted First Class Medical Certificate.
  • Achieve corrected distance vision of 20/20 and near vision of 20/40 or better in each eye.
  • Hold a current FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and effectively utilize Electronic Flight Bags (EFBs).
  • Fluent in both speaking and understanding the English language.
  • Hold a valid unrestricted passport.
  • Accumulate a minimum of 1500 hours of total fixed-wing pilot time.
  • Meet age limitations as stipulated by FAA FAR Part 121 regulations.
  • Possess excellent communication skills and exhibit quick, accurate decision-making capabilities.
  • Exhibit meticulous attention to detail.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and availability to work varying hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Student Pilot Program Qualifications (Initial Interview)

For aspiring pilots seeking entry into the Amerijet program, the following initial qualifications are required:

  • Possession of a Private Pilot Certificate with an Instrument rating.
  • Submission of a fully completed application form.
  • Provision of two character references.

Selected students will progress through the program upon successful completion of required milestones, including:

  • Obtaining a Commercial Pilot Certificate with a Multi-Engine rating.
  • Acquiring a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) certificate, as mandated for employment at Amerijet International Airlines (IAA).
