Amerijet is seeking safety-conscious, skilled pilots who share a passion for aviation and possess the leadership qualities necessary to excel in a dynamic team environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Set high standards for safety and operational excellence.
  • Handle diverse situations effectively, collaborating with team members and customers.
  • Work independently or as part of a team with limited supervision.
  • Ensure the safe, on-time, and efficient operation of Amerijet aircraft.
  • Adapt to working in various climates and locations across the globe, including variable shifts.
  • Provide leadership in responding to emergency and non-emergency situations.

Qualifications:

General:

  • Maintain a cumulative 3.0 GPA in the Bachelor of Science, Aeronautical Science degree program conferred by the College of Aviation.
  • Complete at least thirty hours of academic credit at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
  • Submit two letters of recommendation from faculty members of the College of Aviation.
  • Actively participate in the Amerijet Pathway Program, receiving mentoring and coaching throughout the process.

Pilot Specific:

  • Successfully complete the Aeronautical Science degree program.
  • Serve three full semesters as a full-time flight instructor at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
  • Obtain a Federal Aviation Administration-issued unrestricted Airline Transport Pilot certificate with multi-engine land privileges.
  • Pass a background check.

Additional Basic Qualifications:

  • Possess excellent communication skills and demonstrate quick and accurate decision-making abilities.
  • Meet the age limits stipulated by the FAA FAR Part 121.
  • Exhibit meticulous attention to detail.
  • Maintain flexibility to work varying hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Hold a current unrestricted ATP certificate with an airplane category multi-engine class rating and English proficiency endorsement.
  • Possess a valid First Class Medical Certificate.
  • Have corrected distance vision of 20/20 and corrected near vision of 20/40 or better in each eye.
  • Hold an FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in learning and working with Electronic Flight Bags (EFBs).
  • Be fluent in spoken and written English.
  • Hold a valid unrestricted passport.
  • Have a minimum of 1,500 hours of total fixed-wing pilot time.
