Pilot Training Program Manager - SA227 Metroliner

The Ameriflight Training Department is seeking an SA227 Program Manager based in San Antonio, TX.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct ground, simulator and flight training for new hire and transition pilots
• Coordinate internally to ensure trainees meet the requirements of the Company and Part 135 single pilot and two-crew IFR operations
• Coordinate external training resources to meet demands of the Company's training schedule
• Develop and revise curriculum to meet FAA and Company Standards
• Manage program to corporate goals
• Other duties as assigned by the Director of Training

Qualifications and Experience

• Must meet all FAR 135.243(c) requirements for PIC in IFR conditions and be complete training as an Ameriflight Line Captain
  • ATP is preferred
• Certified Flight Instructor, CFII and MEI required
• Previous flight training and/or management experience
• Previous experience as a FAR 121 or 135 Captain
• Willingness to travel up to 60%

• Must be able to effectively present information to students and management
• Must be able to respond to common inquiries from students, management, and regulatory agencies
• Must be able to read, write, analyze, and interpret common industry and technical and regulatory documents.
• Must be familiar with MS Office suite, especially Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
