Commercial Rotorcraft Pilot - Air Medical Transport Specialist
A premier air medical services provider is currently seeking highly qualified and dedicated candidates for the critical role of Commercial Rotorcraft Pilot. This pivotal position requires exceptional operational acumen and a steadfast commitment to safety, ensuring the swift and secure transport of patients in collaboration with specialized medical teams. The selected candidate will operate advanced rotorcraft within a rigorous regulatory framework, prioritizing mission readiness and adherence to the highest standards of aviation safety.
Key Responsibilities
The Commercial Rotorcraft Pilot will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following core duties:
- Safely execute air medical transport missions, collaborating closely with expert medical personnel to facilitate the transport of customers between designated locations and medical facilities.
- Maintain absolute operational readiness of the assigned aircraft for all flight dispatches, ensuring strict adherence to all Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), company operational manuals, and established safety protocols.
- Conduct thorough pre-flight and post-flight inspections, manage necessary paperwork, and ensure the consistent cleanliness and operational integrity of the rotorcraft.
- Ensure all flight operations comply fully with company requirements and applicable aviation regulations.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
Candidates must possess the following non-negotiable flight hours and certification criteria:
- Possession of a current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate.
- Possession of a valid Helicopter Instrument Rating.
- Possession of a current FAA Class II Medical Certificate or higher.
- Minimum of 2,500 Total Flight Hours (Rotorcraft and Fixed Wing combined).
- Minimum of 1,500 Total Helicopter Flight Hours.
- Minimum of 1,000 Helicopter Pilot-In-Command (PIC) Hours.
