Aviation Pilot Position: Comprehensive Flight Hour Requirements

Candidates are required to meet stringent flight hour qualifications for this aviation pilot position. A minimum of 1,500 total flight hours in airplanes is mandatory. This total must encompass specific experience, including at least 250 hours as Pilot-In-Command (PIC), 500 hours in multi-engine airplanes, 75 hours of night flight operations, and 75 hours of actual or simulated instrument time. Of the instrument time, a minimum of 10 hours must be actual flight time. Furthermore, applicants must demonstrate 100 hours in airplanes within the preceding 12 months.

All accumulated flight experience must be meticulously documented and supported by complete, verifiable flight logs. These logs must clearly display the applicant's name and contain precise entries detailing aircraft type, flight conditions, the designation of Pilot-In-Command, and flight dates. This documentation is essential to confirm adherence to all specified requirements.

Successful candidates will be responsible for serving as Pilot-In-Command on single-engine land, light, and/or multi-engine aircraft. Operations will frequently involve flying over challenging and varied terrain, including mountainous, forested, and desert regions. The role demands proficiency in conducting flights during both day and night conditions.
