Director of Flight Training

Location: Denver, Colorado (preferred)
Reports to: Director of Operations

Job Purpose:

Alpine Air seeks a highly qualified and experienced Director of Flight Training to oversee and manage all aspects of ground-based, aircrew training device (ATD), and flight training programs for aircraft crew members. The successful candidate will uphold Alpine Air's rigorous standards of excellence in safety, piloting proficiency, crew resource management (CRM), and customer relations. This leadership role requires exceptional professional interpersonal skills and a strong commitment to teamwork. Preference is given to candidates located in or willing to relocate to Denver, Colorado. The Director of Flight Training reports directly to the Director of Operations.

Working Conditions:

The work environment for this position includes classroom settings and simulator equipment located within indoor facilities, unaffected by external weather conditions. While performing duties, the employee may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, electronic systems, and potentially industrial hydraulic fluids. The noise level in the primary work environment is typically low.

Compensation:

This is a full-time position. In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the full-time salary range is $110,000 - $130,000 annually. A salary of $150,000 is available with a one-year employment contract.

Physical Requirements:

The position requires the ability to frequently bend, twist, and lift, practicing safe lifting methods. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
