Cabin Crew - Air Arabia

Job Purpose:
The Cabin Crew member serves as an Air Arabia ambassador, striving to cultivate customer loyalty and promote a positive corporate image by enhancing the overall customer experience. They provide exceptional customer service to all passengers while ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the flight cycle. The ideal candidate is ready and fit to operate, ensuring productivity aligns with established measures and company policies and procedures.
Key Result Responsibilities:
Conduct:
- Ensures timely attendance, proper grooming, fitness, and legal compliance for assigned flights.
- Attends pre-flight briefings to acknowledge flight details, understand role distribution, targets, security checks, boarding procedures, and other relevant information.
Safety Measures:
- Instructs passengers on safety procedures to ensure their well-being and comfort throughout the flight.
- Identifies potential safety and security risks and collaborates with the Cabin Supervisor to take corrective action according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Administers first aid to passengers when necessary.
- Promptly informs the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain of any irregularities or malfunctions.
Customer Service:
- Welcomes passengers and assists with boarding formalities, accurately recording relevant data in the aircraft logbook in accordance with Air Arabia and GCAA/CAA procedures.
- Provides exceptional customer service by addressing individual pre-bookings, requests, and needs.
- Identifies and assists passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, following the policies and procedures outlined in the Operations Manual and other relevant instructions.
- Contributes to maximizing on-board revenue and the “Charity Cloud” program by effectively promoting on-board meals, products, and charity services, achieving individual and team targets.
- Ensures proper and secure handling of cash and credit card payments received for individual sales and donations.
Crosschecking and Reports:
- Conducts pre-flight checks to ensure sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, catering equipment, and other specified equipment prior to takeoff. Reports any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor and/or Captain as appropriate.
- Assists in ensuring thorough cleaning of the aircraft cabin at transit stations and the provision of adequate re-catering and duty-free products before flying.
- Ensures orderly and complete handover/takeover of the cabin to/from catering, cleaning, and/or maintenance staff.
- Completes post-flight briefing and assessment reports according to established policies and procedures, providing objective evaluations of the Cabin Supervisor, reporting any problems or discrepancies during the flight, and closing and sealing duty-free containers.
- Reports passenger conduct to the Cabin Supervisor and fulfills the duties of the “Cabin Supervisor” when designated by the Captain.
- Maintains necessary professional and safety knowledge and competitiveness by attending recurrent trainings, emergency procedures training, educational workshops, and ensuring current license.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results and achieving allocated sales targets and objectives.
Important Requirements:
- Age: Between 20 and 33 years
- Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 168 cm (Male)
- Weight: Proportionate to age and height
- Clear skin with no visible marks or tattoos while wearing the cabin crew uniform
- Medically/physically fit to perform Cabin Crew duties
- Ability to swim with the aid of a flotation device
Qualifications (Academic, training, languages):
- Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate is acceptable for this role; a diploma in Travel/Tourism is a plus.
- Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is beneficial.
- Fit to fly, with good general health, no serious medical conditions, or chronic diseases.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
Work Experience:
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply for this role.
- Previous experience as cabin crew or in a customer service role within the Airlines/Aviation/ or hospitality industries is considered an added value.
- An active cabin crew license is an advantage.
- Capable of working in shift patterns and for extended working hours.
- Exhibits high flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
- Demonstrates the ability to contribute and successfully deliver against policies, procedures, and set KPIs.
