Cabin Crew Position at Air Arabia

Job Purpose:
The Cabin Crew member serves as an ambassador for Air Arabia, fostering customer loyalty and promoting a positive corporate image through exceptional service. They prioritize passenger safety and comfort throughout the entire flight cycle, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience. The successful candidate will be a team player, adhering to company policies and procedures while maintaining high levels of productivity.
Key Result Responsibilities:
Conduct:
- Ensures timely arrival, maintains proper grooming and fitness standards, and complies with all legal requirements for assigned flights.
- Participates in pre-flight briefings to receive flight details, understand assigned roles, and confirm security measures, boarding procedures, and other relevant information.
Safety Measures:
- Instructs passengers on safety procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the flight.
- Identifies potential safety and security risks, partnering with the Cabin Supervisor to take corrective action as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Provides first aid to passengers when necessary.
- Reports any irregularities or malfunctions promptly to the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, or Captain, as appropriate.
Customer Service:
- Welcomes passengers and assists with boarding formalities, accurately documenting information in the aircraft logbook according to Air Arabia and GCAA/CAA procedures.
- Provides exceptional customer service by addressing passenger requests and needs, ensuring a personalized and attentive experience.
- Identifies and assists passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, following established policies and procedures as outlined in the Operations Manual and other relevant instructions.
- Contributes to maximizing on-board revenue and promoting the "Charity Cloud" program by effectively promoting on-board meals, products, and charity services, achieving individual and team sales targets.
- Manages cash and credit card payments received for sales and donations, ensuring secure handling.
Crosschecking and Reports:
- Conducts pre-flight checks to ensure sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, catering equipment, and other specified equipment before takeoff, reporting any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor and/or Captain.
- Assists in ensuring thorough cleaning of the aircraft cabin at transit stations, coordinating with catering, cleaning, and maintenance staff for re-catering and duty free product replenishment.
- Ensures orderly handover and takeover of the cabin between catering, cleaning, and maintenance staff.
- Completes post-flight briefing and assessment reports according to established policies and procedures, providing objective evaluations of the Cabin Supervisor, reporting any flight-related problems or discrepancies, and closing and sealing duty free containers.
- Provides accurate reports on passenger conduct to the Cabin Supervisor and fulfills the duties of "Cabin Supervisor" when designated by the Captain.
- Maintains professional and safety knowledge through participation in recurrent training sessions, emergency procedures training, and educational workshops. Maintains a current license.
- Contributes to team effort by achieving allocated sales targets and objectives.
Important Requirements:
- Age: 20 to 33 years old
- Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 168 cm (Male)
- Weight: Proportionate to age and height
- Clear skin with no visible marks or tattoos when wearing the cabin crew uniform
- Medically and physically fit to perform Cabin Crew duties
- Ability to swim with the aid of a flotation device
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate; a diploma in Travel/Tourism is an advantage.
- Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is an added value.
- Fit to fly, with good general health, no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
Work Experience:
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience as cabin crew or in a customer service role within the Airlines/Aviation/ or hospitality Industries is an advantage.
- An active cabin crew license is a plus.
- Capable of working in shift patterns and for extended working hours.
- Demonstrates high flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
- Ability to contribute and deliver against policies, procedures, and set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
