Cabin Crew Position at Air Arabia

Job Purpose:
The Cabin Crew member serves as Air Arabia's ambassador, striving to foster customer loyalty and promote a positive corporate image by enhancing the overall passenger experience. They provide exceptional customer service to all passengers while ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the entire flight cycle. The Cabin Crew member must be prepared and fit to operate efficiently, adhering to established performance measures and company policies and procedures.
Key Result Responsibilities:
Conduct:
- Ensures punctual attendance, maintains proper grooming standards, and confirms personal fitness and legal requirements for assigned flights.
- Attends pre-flight briefings to acknowledge flight details, understand assigned roles, targets, security checks, boarding procedures, and other pertinent information.
Safety Measures:
- Instructs passengers on safety procedures to be followed, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.
- Identifies potential safety and security risks and collaborates with the Cabin Supervisor to take corrective action in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Administers first aid to passengers when necessary.
- Promptly informs the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain of any irregularities or malfunctions.
Customer Service:
- Warmly welcomes passengers and assists with boarding formalities, accurately recording necessary data in the aircraft logbook according to Air Arabia and GCAA/CAA regulations.
- Provides consistent, exceptional customer service to passengers by addressing their individual pre-bookings, requests, and needs.
- Identifies and assists passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, adhering to relevant policies and procedures outlined in the Operations Manual and other relevant instructions.
- Contributes to maximizing on-board revenue and the "Charity Cloud" program by effectively promoting on-board meals, products, and charity services, achieving individual and team targets.
- Ensures secure and proper handling of cash and credit card payments received for individual sales and donations.
Crosschecking and Reports:
- Conducts pre-flight checks to ensure sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, catering equipment, and other specified equipment are available before takeoff. Reports any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor and/or Captain as appropriate.
- Assists in ensuring the aircraft cabin is thoroughly cleaned at transit stations and that adequate re-catering and duty free products are provided before departing.
- Ensures an orderly and complete handover/takeover of the cabin to/from catering, cleaning, and/or maintenance staff.
- Completes post-flight briefing and assessment reports according to established policies and procedures. Provides objective evaluations of the Cabin Supervisor, reports any flight problems or discrepancies, and closes and seals duty-free containers.
- Provides an account to the Cabin Supervisor regarding passenger conduct and assumes the role of "Cabin Supervisor" when designated by the Captain.
- Maintains necessary professional and safety knowledge and competitiveness by participating in recurrent trainings, emergency procedures trainings, educational workshops, and by ensuring a current license.
- Contributes to the team effort by achieving allocated sales targets, objectives, and related results.
Important Requirements:
- Age: Between 20 and 30 years
- Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 168 cm (Male)
- Weight: Proportionate to age and height
- Clear skin with no visible marks or tattoos while wearing the cabin crew uniform
- Medically and physically fit to perform Cabin Crew duties
- Ability to swim with the aid of a flotation device
Qualifications (Academic, training, languages):
- Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate is acceptable; a diploma in Travel/Tourism is a plus.
- Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures are valued.
- Fit to fly, possesses good general health, no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
Work Experience:
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience as cabin crew or in a customer service role in the Airlines/Aviation/ or hospitality industries is advantageous.
- An active cabin crew license is a plus.
- Capable of working in shift patterns and for extended working hours.
- Displays high flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
- Demonstrates the ability to contribute and successfully deliver against policies, procedures, and set KPIs.
