Aviation Pilot - Medical Transport
This position requires an experienced and highly skilled pilot responsible for safely transporting medical crews and patients to receiving hospitals within a designated operational area. The successful candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of aircraft and weather conditions, ensuring the airworthiness of the aircraft for every flight.
Essential Requirements:
- Minimum 2,000 total flight hours.
- Minimum 1,500 flight hours in category.
- Minimum 1,000 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC) in category.
- Minimum 500 hours of rotor wing turbine experience.
- Minimum 200 hours of cross-country flight time, including at least 50 hours at night.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR), Aeronautical Information Manual (AIM), and General Operations Manual (GOM) guidelines.
- Maintain the highest standards of safety and professionalism during all flight operations.
- Effectively communicate with medical personnel and ground staff to ensure a smooth and efficient transport process.
- Possess strong decision-making skills to assess and respond to changing weather conditions and unforeseen circumstances.
