Pilot - Cherokee 6 - Island Air Service
Island Air Service, renowned for its comprehensive training program, is seeking experienced pilots to join its team on a permanent, year-round basis. This exciting opportunity provides a unique challenge and rewarding career path in the breathtaking environment of Kodiak, Alaska.
Responsibilities:
- Execute scheduled and charter flights to six villages on Kodiak Island utilizing the Cherokee 6 aircraft.
- Safely manage unpredictable weather conditions and navigate short, gravel runways.
- Perform loading and unloading operations for the aircraft.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 500 hours of flight experience meeting Part 135 VFR requirements.
- 1000 hours of experience preferred.
- Strong work ethic, commitment to safety, and ability to thrive in a demanding environment.
