Pilot, Air Medical Transport
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Aviation Professional to join our critical air medical transport team as a Pilot. This pivotal role involves collaborating closely with a team of medical experts to ensure the safe, efficient, and compassionate transportation of patients to and from various medical facilities and locations. The successful candidate will uphold the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and operational readiness, making a direct impact on patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate aircraft with paramount regard for safety, strictly adhering to all Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations and company operational procedures.
- Ensure comprehensive aircraft readiness for all flight dispatches, including thorough pre-flight inspections, systems checks, and adherence to appropriate operational manuals.
- Collaborate seamlessly with a team of medical professionals, contributing to a cohesive and effective patient transport experience.
- Maintain accurate and detailed flight logs and records as required by regulatory bodies and company policy.
Required Qualifications
- FAA Certificate: Commercial Pilot Certificate with either a Multi-Engine Land (AMEL) or Single-Engine Land (ASEL) rating.
- Medical Certificate: Current FAA First- or Second-Class Medical Certificate.
- Flight Hours:
- A minimum of 2,500 total flight hours.
- At least 2,000 fixed-wing hours.
- A minimum of 1,000 Pilot-in-Command (PIC) hours.
- Driver's License: Valid and unexpired driver's license.
- ATP Requirement: Willingness and ability to obtain an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate within five years of employment.
